Event Description

The Circle of Sisters

Introductory Session

Who are we meant to be as women, mothers, wives and friends? We, as a generation, are revolutionizing these roles.. We are questioning everything. We question the generations before us and the roles they have passed down to us, we question our teachers, bosses and peers, we question our government and its actions, we question the people who produce our food, and the doctors who care for our children. We question our future and most of all we question who we are as the “New Generation of Women”.

Cara Gibbon Doud and Carrie Lee Ferguson invite you to explore with them, and the women of our community, the topics that live in our hearts.

Cara and Carrie wish to create a space for women to re-connect with their inner knowing and to support one another on our journeys. Cara and Carrie are mothers, seekers and thinkers. Cara is a certified yoga instructor and teacher. Carrie is an author and teacher.

The Circle of Sisters is all about supporting and empowering the mind, body and spirit of every woman. We come together to explore our role as women and in an open circle, expand our thinking. We begin our gatherings with a vigorous (all levels) session of yoga to rid our bodies and minds of the old, toxic thoughts and feelings that take up residence there. We are then able to open up to new ideas and beliefs. After we finish our yoga and share in the convivial experience of tea and muffins, we feel ready to begin anew and discuss things we’ve never discussed and maybe (hopefully) begin a new path – a more authentic one that is true to who we are as an individual, and brings us closer to our creative and spiritual edges.

So come check it out, you just might surprise yourself.
