Intro to Meditation Workshop

This is an informational and experiential workshop for people who are curious about meditation, want to start a meditation practice, or just want to understand what it is and why do it.
There will be several guided meditations, discussion & explaination, Q & A, scientific info related to meditation and its effects on the brain, how to start a practice and much more. This is not limited to any religion or spiritual group. Anyone is welcome! Bring pen & paper, an open mind & open heart.
The cost is $15 if you preregister, or $20 at the door. Lauren will be available to register people at RHC's Gift Certificate Sale 11/20(all day), at the Jarboe Park Green Market 11/28 (2-5pm), before or after her yoga classes at Renaissance Healing Center(RHC), or you can call 352-359-2787 or email lolobriana@yahoo.com.
Healthy snacks will be available after workshop.
Lauren will be teaching a yoga class afterwards 5-6 and meditation 6-6:30.
