The other day I was in my office meditating between appointments. I had a client who was nearing the end of the Rolfing® Ten Series that week, and I was asking the Universe to bring me the next person who would take their place. I was focusing my intention on the word 'abundance', and I decided to place my appointment book between my hands in a prayer position in front of my heart. Within three minutes of this action, the phone rang and I had a conversation th

Following the Haiti Earthquake of January 12th I was reminded of an essay written by Albert Einstein entitled, “The World as I See It.” In this piece Einstein speaks to the understanding that we are not on this planet to serve ourselves. He elaborates on how we are here to serve one another stating that his achievements were made with the idea of serving mankind and not himself. What took Einstein many years to conclude is being taught to us, the world, in a crash course with one significan

As consumers become more aware of the impact their food dollar can have on the environment, we are seeing increased support and demand for farms, markets and suppliers that provide fresh, local produce grown organically. There has also been increased support for farms and suppliers who raise cattle and poultry in a humane, environmentally conscious manner. This new breed of eco-conscious consumer is searching for ways to maintain a healthy, vital lifestyle, while supporting businesses with socia…

It is no secret that we live in a society dominated by disposables. Many of the products you purchase today have a one-use shelf life and are then relegated to the trash. Although an increasing amount of information is available to consumers with regard to living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, today’s marketplace still places an emphasis on consumption. The average American discards close to 5 pounds of trash a day, which amounts to a staggering 56 tons over the course of a year, one…

If the idea of composting seems foreign to you, allow me to share insight into one of the best things that you as a homeowner can do to significantly reduce the waste you generate. According to studies conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency, yard trimmings and food scraps together constitute as much as 23 percent of all waste that enters U.S. landfills. Much of this waste could be diverted from the dump if homeowners were to create a composting site and place this waste here. Diverting…

AWAKEN TO ONENESS! EXPERIENCE ONENESS BLESSING!(ONENESS DEEKSHA*)
A Door to Higher Awareness& the Flowering of the Heart
The founders of the Oneness University - Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma - believe the solution to humanity's suffering can only be found through each individual being elevated to a state of causeless love and limitless joy, to transfer him or her into an awakened state of Oneness.
This is being done through the transfer of the Oneness Blessing (Oneness Deeksha), wherein the D…

Happy New Year everyone!
The New Year
Please remember that small changes (in life) last longer over time than making drastic changes in lifestyle such as with the potentially burdensome annual New Year’s resolution. Set your goals and priorities for the New Year, but make sure they are attainable and have a doable timeline…so you don’t stress yourself out and potentially set yourself up for failure.
I wish everyone financial success and prosperity as well as great health and loving, supportive…

The blood within our bodies must maintain a healthy pH of 7.34. pH ranges on a scale from 1 to 14. A pH that is less than 7 is considered an acidic pH. A pH that is greater than 7 is considered an alkaline pH. A pH of 7 is considered neutral. Human blood is slightly alkaline.
In order for us to maintain proper health, the blood pH should not change. If the blood pH deviates too far from its set pH of 7.34, the body falls prey to sickness, disease, and even deat…
